Streamoji Credits Consumption
Streamoji credits are the currency used to power your avatar interactions and generations. Understanding how these credits are consumed helps you manage your subscription and usage effectively.
Note: Credit consumption rates are subject to change based on your subscription plan and feature updates.
Free Daily Allowance 🎉
Every user is entitled to 1 free avatar download per day. This allows you to download a avatar without consuming any credits from your monthly allocation. This limit resets daily at 24 Hours since last saved avatar.
Selfie to Avatar: The selfie-to-avatar feature is free with unlimited use. No credits are consumed when using selfie to avatar.
Subscription Plans & Credits
Your monthly credit allocation depends on your subscription plan. Choosing the right plan ensures you have enough credits for your expected usage volume.
Free tier: For personal use only (e.g. VR Chat, hobby projects). Commercial use requires a paid subscription.

Custom avatars: Available only on the Business plan and above. They are not available on Free, Professional, or Studio plans.
Credits Rollover & Overage
Unused credits from your subscription carry over to the next month, so you don’t lose what you didn’t use. If you go over your monthly allocation, overage charges are based on the tier you are already on (e.g. Professional overage rates apply if you’re on the Professional plan).
Tracking Usage
You can track your real-time credit usage and transaction history in the Developer Dashboard under the Usage Metrics tab.
Running Out of Credits?
If you exhaust your monthly credit allocation, you can:
- Upgrade your subscription plan for a higher limit.
- Purchase a credit top-up pack from the Billing section.
- Wait for your monthly renewal date for credits to reset.
